That's where we come in! Having run tours in places as remote as the Kimberley and Tiwi Islands, getting to some of the most spectacular and equally remote locations is what we do.

Price

$19,990 per vehicle (2 adults and up to 2 kids under 15). Half price for 2025 as it's our maiden expedition. Try finding an experienced tour guide anywhere for that price!

What's Included:

  • A Tour guide with all the necessary communications, first aid, and years of experience in remote locations.
  • All camping and permit costs.
  • Tours guided by OutThere Adventure Tag-Along Tours.
  • Help setting up and packing up.
  • Help and advice for those keen to try surfing, snorkeling, and fishing.

What's Not Included:

  • Fuel
  • Food
  • Camping/personal equipment
  • Activity equipment such as snorkeling, surfing, and fishing gear
  • Guide from Darwin back to Victoria
  • Optional extra tours such as boat-operated tours (whale shark, manta ray, and humpback whale tours) and specialist tours

Application Process

Applicants will be selected via an interview process to ensure group cohesion and suitability. The group will be kept intentionally small.

Things to Consider

  • Is my vehicle capable of long-distance travel? Ideally (but not limited to) a 4WD? We can advise on vehicle makes and suitability for the trip.
  • Am I and my family capable of long drives?
  • Do I like roughing it?
  • Am I comfortable traveling with a group?
  • Would you be comfortable in culturally diverse situations such as staying in remote Indigenous communities?
  • Appropriate travel insurance.
  • Upgraded roadside assistance and car insurance.
